Summary
Salary.com invited a cross-section of employees and business representatives from across the US to participate in the survey. Participants submitted responses electronically during late November and early December of 2007. More than 2,800 responses were received from companies ranging in size from less than 10 to over 5,000 employees. All responses were reviewed for consistency and accuracy, and valid submissions were aggregated.
