If you wander into a disaster zone, resist the urge to be a one-woman relief team. Had you lifted every forkful of peas to your toddler's mouth, you'd be proffering slices of pepperoni to him now. 

We learn by doing, and you already know how to wipe counters and load the dishwasher. Your son apparently needs a little more practice. Don't take that away from him. Call him inside from the backyard football game to finish his responsibilities. But if you tell him it was our idea, this conversation never happened.
