It truly doesn’t matter if you’ve got a newborn or a teenager – there always seems to be somewhere you have to go.
It starts with “Mommy & Me” classes while you’re on maternity leave. Then you’re driving to playdates and working moms are driving to daycare before and after work. Suddenly the kids are in grade school and you’re the designated carpooler. Once youth sports begin and you’re starting your Saturday with 5 a.m. rink times followed by basketball and indoor soccer all in the same day, you’ll basically be a glorified chauffeur. Hang in there, once they’re teenagers they won’t ever want to be seen in a car with you.
The hardest part is losing control of the car radio and listening to kids’ music.
