Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. Capable of resolving escalated issues arising from operations and requiring coordination with other departments. To be a Compliance Investigation Manager typically requires 3+ years of managerial experience.
The Manager, Compliance & Investigations will be responsible for supporting the development and implementation of the ethics & compliance program globally.
The position will report directly to the VP, Chief Ethics & Compliance Officer and will be based in our Regional Headquarters office in Amman, Jordan.
Primary responsibilities will include maintaining high level oversight to ensure that compliance and ethical standards are met and leading investigations into possible violations of the Code of Conduct, IRD policies and the law.
The Compliance Investigator will report directly to the Compliance Director who is responsible for the OUS investigations function covering EU/TMEA & JAPAC.
The Compliance Investigator position is a key member of Amgen’s Worldwide Compliance & Business Ethics function and is responsible for leading internal compliance investigations across JAPAC (occasionally involving a US focus).
