About the Role
Reporting to the Finance Manager, the Accounts Receivable Officer is part of a team responsible for effective management of the accounting and administration processes within the Arcare Finance department in relation to client fees and charges.

Skills and Experience

  • Previous experience in an accounts receivable
  • Knowledge of office administration and general bookkeeping procedures
  • Knowledge of general accounting principles
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Highly developed verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrate accuracy and attention to detail and ability to prioritize
  • Proficiency in the use of software relevant to the position
  • Be reliable, flexible and a team player
  • Current Police Clearance and Statutory Declaration

  
Responsibilities

  • Administration of data regarding the admission and discharge of clients
  • Client invoicing, receipting, reconciliation, debt collection and banking
  • Reconciliation of government claim statements to payment statements with appropriate follow-up
  • Maintaining occupancy records
  • Liaising/corresponding with residents and families as required
  • Other administrative and accounting duties as require
