About the OPPORTUNITY
We have new opportunities for Electrical Apprentices to join our Hunter Class Frigate Program based at the Osborne Naval Shipyard — one of the most digitally advanced naval shipyards in the world.
We are now accepting applications for our 2025 apprenticeship program, commencing in February. It's an exciting time to join us and a great place to start a career in shipbuilding.
As an Electrical Apprentice you will gain practical experience working in the shipyard, while completing a Certificate III in Electrotechnology Electrician
Key responsibilities include:
- Install cable trays, junction boxes and minor electrical equipment.
- Run electrical cables.
- Conduct general terminating.
- Asisst with fault finding, testing and checking installations.
- Apply health and safety in the workplace.
- Contributing to improving business culture with regards to people, process and systems.
