About the Role

Based at our Panorama site, this role is being offered for a period of 18 months on a full-time basis and is responsible for a broad range of administrative and recruitment tasks across the entire employee life cycle for Bedford staff. The role reports to the HR Manager, Services and Advisory and works closely with the Recruitment Coordinator and all members of Bedford’s People and Culture teams.

Other key responsibilities include:

  • Provide advice and support across a broad range of People & Culture activities
  • Assist the Recruitment Coordinator with recruitment activities and manage own “case load” of end to end recruitment for Disability Support Workers (DSW)
  • Manage and monitor HR records and compliance
  • Document preparation to support recruitment and onboarding
  • Generate and compile workforce and compliance data and reporting
  • Manage invoicing and purchase orders related to People & Culture
  • Other general HR coordination tasks and projects


About You

To be successful in this role you will enjoy working within a fast-paced and changing environment with a friendly and supportive team. You will use your own initiative and judgment to demonstrate your ability to be fully accountable in this role. You will possess and value strong attention to detail, be highly organised and have excellent time management skills, and be able to prioritise your workload and competing demands. You will also believe in providing an exceptional service experience to both internal and external customers.

Other knowledge, skills and attributes include:

  • 2 years’ experience in Recruitment, preferably in bulk recruitment
  • Minimum 12 months HR administration/coordination experience
  • Medium to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Outlook, Word and Excel, and experience using databases and online systems.
  • Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills
  • A desire to learn and grow within the People and Culture discipline
  • Good sense of humour!


For this role, the following documents must be provided prior to a formal offer of employment with Bedford.

  • A National Police Clearance (no older than six months old)
  • NDIS worker screening clearance, or other NDIS approved clearance to work in the disability sector
  • Evidence of right to work in Australia
  • 100 points of identification
