Technical Lead

Circle are looking for an outstanding, innovative Technical Lead to join our growing business!

Projects will be aligned with the overall strategy of Circle incorporating changes and advancements in CircleScan, Circle Dashboard, Azure, and other internal systems. We are seeking a Technical Lead who will bring fresh eyes, can champion change, and guide the business through the future. 

​​Role and Responsibilities​ 

• Responsible for resolving technical problems and issues that arise during software development projects, ensuring that all issues are resolved quickly and effectively 
• Analysis of specifications and completing statements of work with clients to facilitate change requests and project work  
• provide mentorship and coaching to team members, helping to develop their technical skills 
• Working with the Product Manager, oversee the work of developers, ensuring that tasks are completed according to project requirements and timelines 
• help to define architecture, design patterns, and coding standards across different projects 
• Identifying risks and forming contingency plans as soon as possible 
• Analysing existing operations and scheduling training sessions and meetings to discuss improvements. 
• Keeping up-to-date with industry trends and developments. 
• Maintaining Team postman scripts and collections to facilitate testing within projects  
• Working on support tickets that required technical investigation, analysis & resolution (e.g. reviewing API calls/responses) 
• Updating work schedules and performing troubleshooting, testing and implementations as required. 
• work closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure that technical decisions are aligned with project goals and value 
• Being transparent with the team about challenges, failures, and successes. 
• Working with the business towards its goals, for example ISO27001 certification 

Skills 

• have a thorough understanding of different programming languages, databases, and software development methodologies like Agile and DevOps. 
• Knowledge and experience working with RESTful API (web-based APIs), 
• Working with digital tools, software and networking systems. You also require a working knowledge of security principles and safe practices. 
• Experience in a similar role would be advantageous, or skills in the hospitality industry, IDV arena 
• Excellent technical, diagnostic, and troubleshooting skills including using tools such as Postman, Swagger, Connectwise, Jira 
• Familiarity with C#, WPF, Javascript SPA
• Strong leadership and organisational abilities 
• Willingness to build professional relationships with staff and clients. 
• Excellent communication, motivational, and interpersonal skills. 
• Ability to work autonomously
