About The Role
As the Demand Analyst, you will be responsible for for managing and optimising demand in line with availability and inventory targets.
You will
- Support planning function and activities to maximise events and execution of our promotional activities
- Analyse demand performance, root cause analysis and identify opportunity to improve systemic forecast performance
- Assist in effectively managing product flow, including minimising overstocks and improving availability to ensure a great customer offer for assigned trading area
- Forecast review and continuous improvement
- Take ownership of forecast for CFC unique range and CFC specific promotional activities
- Ensure promotional activity is supported with accurate and executable forecast
- Collaborate with BU SC and Supplier directly for unique CFC range to ensure forecast is aligned
- Support event planning and execution by overlaying customer demand forecast
- Manual intervention support i.e. promotions loaded in lockout window
You have
- Planning role in FMGC business
- Preferable experience in a Category Team and managing retail categories
- Demonstrated experience analysing data and trends
- Demonstrated experience working in a Supply Chain function
- Preferable experience working externally with suppliers or customers to ensure we are getting required information on-time
- Preferable experience working in Demand Planning function either at large retailer or a supplier
- Ability to manage to deadlines
- Highly organised and to manage multiple different tasks
- High attention to detail and pride in quality of work
- A proactive nature and ability to prioritise workload and/or manage expectations if risk of missing deadlines
- Intermediate Microsoft application efficiency (Outlook, Word and Excel)
- Preferable to have knowledge of retail systems such as RDF and AA Smarter Forecasting and AIP
