What Your Day Will Look Like….
As a Psychiatrist at Darling Downs Health, your day will be both dynamic and fulfilling. You'll engage directly with clients, conducting assessments and developing tailored care plans that focus on rehabilitation and recovery. Collaboration is key, so you'll work closely with a diverse team to ensure integrated services that meet the unique needs of each consumer. Throughout the day, you'll also monitor care outcomes, participate in peer reviews, and provide supervision to medical students and junior staff. By fostering an environment of continuous learning and improvement, you'll play a vital role in enhancing mental health care in the community. Each day offers the chance to make meaningful connections and promote positive outcomes for those you serve!

You will receive a competitive remuneration package value from $172,686 (L18) up to $211,561 (L27) comprising salary rates between $100.78 (L18) and $127.77 p.h. (L27), motor vehicle allowance, professional development allowance, professional development leave 3.6 weeks p.a., regional attraction allowance, professional indemnity cover and private practice arrangements. Superannuation (up to 12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) will be applied additionally to the total remuneration value.
