Role Overview:
As the Ramp Operations Manager, you'll oversee dnata Ground Services from start to finish and serve as the primary client contact, ensuring top-notch service that exceeds expectations. You'll tackle complex business challenges, manage stakeholder demands, and navigate a fast-paced environment with finesse.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Oversee client-focused operations, managing daily work areas and ensuring compliance with Ground Handling and Service Level Agreements.
- Lead and develop your team through coaching, mentoring, and performance feedback to achieve high standards of performance.
- Engage with stakeholders to address their diverse interests and expectations effectively.
- Collaborate with management to develop and implement strategies that promote a customer-centric culture.
- Manage rosters and budgets to ensure effective and efficient business outcomes.
- Develop and maintain business processes and procedures in accordance with industry standards and company policies.
- Provide regular reports and metrics on key business issues.
- Promote a positive safety culture within the team, emphasizing awareness and vigilance.
ESSENTIAL CRITERIA
- 5 years of leadership experience with a strong focus on customer service.
- Proven background in aviation and ramp operations.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Track record of building and maintaining strong stakeholder relationships.
- Extensive experience in regulated industries with a focus on compliance and continuous improvement.
- Strong business acumen, including financial management and driving cultural change.
- Valid state driver’s license.
Desirable Criteria
- Previous experience in or knowledge of airline industry principles and procedures
- HSC or University graduate in a business discipline
