Supply Planner | 12 Month MAT Leave Contract

About the Role:
As a Supply Planner, you will be responsible for managing the external procurement of goods from both local and international suppliers, overseeing inventory, and procuring finished goods. Your proactive communication with internal stakeholders will ensure optimal safety stock levels, lead times, and successful product launches. You will also maintain all relevant documentation, drive continuous improvement initiatives, and adhere to company standards.
The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills and a mindset geared toward continuous improvement, always looking for better ways to enhance processes. You will have a comprehensive understanding of the entire supply chain, including cause-and-effect relationships, and will thrive in a cross-functional project environment.

What You Will Do:
- Develop and execute the supply plan to ensure stock availability at the right place, time, and price.
- Manage inventory movement to achieve stock turn and service level goals.
- Analyze demand, considering lead times, monitor supplier deliveries, and manage exceptions.
- Generate and execute purchase plans to meet customer service targets and balance logistics costs.
- Participate in cross-functional meetings and supply chain project teams.
- Maintain master data accuracy and communicate supply plans to stakeholders.
- Work closely with demand planners to align demand plans.
- Liaise with distribution centers and suppliers to ensure inventory integrity.
- Document SOP processes and maintain system master data accuracy.
Who You Are:
You will bring at least 3 years of experience in supply chain and supply/demand planning, focusing on supply planning and import management from overseas. You will have:
- Proficiency in various supply planning systems, reporting tools, and advanced Excel (Power BI skills are highly regarded).
- Experience with SAP (or equivalent ERP).
- Knowledge of the end-to-end process of demand and supply planning.
- Experience with Sales & Operations Planning processes and supply chain planning concepts.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to influence and lead change.
- The ability to navigate and resolve ambiguity.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong numerical reasoning skills and attention to detail.
- Highly organized, with strong time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
- The capacity to work effectively under pressure.
