About the role
If you are excited to lead a team of People and Culture Business Partners whilst making your mark on our growing operation, then we want to hear from you.
Reporting to the People and Culture Manager the Superintendent supports in a 2IC capacity. The role requires a resilient leader who has previously held a superintendent role and brings a proven track record of executing reoccurring people functions within a mining operation.
The Superintendent provides coaching and leadership to a team of dedicated site-based People and Culture Business Partners to support them in working hand in hand with a portfolio of stakeholders to deliver expert advice on all things people. This includes:
IR/ER support
Investigations
Org design and change management
Cyclical activities
People policy and procedures
Success will be measured on the strength of relationships held within the P&C team and the diverse range of technical leaders throughout the operation.
The position will be on a 5:2:4:3 roster, FIFO from Perth or based residentially. About you
You must be a strong people leader who has an open, inclusive, and collaborative leadership style with following qualifications and attributes.
Previous mining experience in a superintendent capacity
Minimum 5 years’ experience in a HR generalist role
Experience working with various employment contract arrangements and shift work rosters / work patterns.
Tertiary qualifications in HR Management, Law or a Business-related discipline preferred but not essential
Strong stakeholder management skills
A high level of strategic thinking, planning, and problem-solving abilities
Resilience, and a go getter attitude.
