Role Overview:


The Head of Sales will be a strategic leader responsible for driving the company’s sales strategy, with a strong emphasis on new product development and expanding our presence in global big-box retailers. This role requires a dynamic and results-driven individual with a deep understanding of the luxury market, extensive experience in sales leadership, and the ability to foster strong relationships with key stakeholders in both domestic and international markets.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Sales Strategy Development:
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to achieve revenue targets and expand market presence, particularly focusing on global big-box retailers.
  • New Product Development:
  • Collaborate closely with the product development team to ensure new products align with market demand and customer needs. Play a key role in launching new products and driving their success in the marketplace.
  • Big-Box Retailer Management:
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with major big-box retailers globally. Negotiate terms, manage key accounts, and drive sales growth within these channels.
  • Team Leadership:
  • Lead, mentor, and inspire the sales team, ensuring alignment with company goals and fostering a culture of high performance.
  • Market Expansion:
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in both existing and emerging markets. Leverage relationships with big-box retailers to expand footprint.
  • Sales Operations:
  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the sales department, including pipeline management, forecasting, and reporting. Ensure the sales process is efficient and effective.
  • Collaboration:
  • Work closely with the marketing, product development, and operations teams to ensure alignment on brand positioning, product offerings, and go-to-market strategies.
  • Budget Management:
  • Manage the sales budget, ensuring optimal allocation of resources and maximizing return on investment.
  • Performance Analysis:
  • Monitor sales performance metrics, analyze data to identify trends, and implement corrective actions where necessary.


Key Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA is a plus.
  • Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in sales leadership roles, with a focus on new product development and global big-box retailers.
  • Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets, particularly in big-box retail channels.
  • Strong understanding of the luxury market, customer behavior, and product development processes.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to think strategically and execute tactically.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and sales analytics tools.
