We have an exciting opportunity in the NSW Health AIR Integration service for a
Clinical Application Specialist.
AIR Integration Service submits immunisations recorded in electronic medical records to the federal Australian Immunisation Register. You will be part of a small team that supports the operations and error management for NSW Health. Reporting into the Product Owner, you will be responsible for delivering ongoing support, improvements and service developments for the state level service, by applying specific operational, functional and some technical expertise along with relevant domain knowledge to achieve optimal business outcomes. The role involves working closely with a range of stakeholders including clinical service managers, administrators, clinicians across all LHD/SHNs, the state Integration Services Team as well as relevant bodies at state and commonwealth level.
Health Manager Level 3, commencing salary from $122,850 – $139,559 plus super and annual leave loading.

What You Will Do
As an integral member of the NSW AIR Integration service, you will have the following knowledge base, experience and skill set:
- Working closely with patient care delivery teams across all Local Health Districts and Speciality Health Networks
- Significant knowledge and experience in the use and support of clinical ICT applications
- Medical records capture, quality assurance and records management
- eHealth Service Delivery integration between Local Health Districts and national health services
- Working collaboratively with state and national stakeholders
- Data gathering, reporting, analysis and interpretation
About You
We are seeking motivated and committed individuals with:
- Demonstrated capability to build and maintain effective working relationships with clinical and non-clinical stakeholders at state and national level including vendors
- Demonstrated understanding of changes and upgrades to the various eMR domains and related idiosyncrasies
- The ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a small dynamic team with competing priorities
- Excellent skills in analysing business requirements and functional specifications to guide technical development
- Proven ability to troubleshoot incidents, identify issues proactively and come up with working solutions
- A growth mindset, and commitment to continuous learning and personal development
