As the Quality Manager, you will be instrumental in ensuring the organization meets and exceeds the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Framework and Aged Care Quality Standards. Reporting directly to the Head of Clinical Governance, you will be responsible for fostering a culture of safety and continuous improvement throughout services this aged care company provides.
This is a key leadership role and you will drive the development, implementation, and monitoring of quality improvement systems, incident management, and compliance programs across the services.
This role is based on the Lower North Shore with the opportunity to travel as part of your role 1 to 2 times a week.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and monitor quality management systems to ensure compliance with relevant standards.
- Conduct regular audits and assessments in line with NDIS and Aged Care Quality Standards.
- Collaborate with clinical and operational teams to identify and address areas for improvement.
- Prepare and present quality reports to senior management and stakeholders.
- Facilitate training and awareness programs to promote a culture of safety and quality across the organization.
- Stay informed of industry trends, legislative changes, and best practices to ensure our services remain at the forefront of quality care.
Qualifications and Experience:
- AHPRA Registered Nurse
- Proven experience in quality management within a healthcare or aged care setting.
- Strong knowledge of the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Framework and Aged Care Quality Standards.
- Experience working across WHS and process improvement
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and engage effectively with staff at all levels.
