The opportunity

Key responsibilities

  • Manage positive relationships with stakeholders, ensuring compliance with program outcomes, value for money, and resolving issues between the company, clients, program personnel, and business partners.
  • Support best practice program management, contribute to business development, identify new client opportunities, and establish yourself and the company as thought leaders in program management.
  • Ensure high-quality, accurate, and timely deliverables and reports, along with strong budget management, including forecasting and variance analysis.
  • Provide financial and administrative support to project teams and Executive Management, including preparing quarterly Project Expenditure Estimate at Completion (PEEAC) reports.
  • Manage risk, compliance, and incident management matters effectively while supporting program leaders in maintaining safety and fraud prevention.
  • Support performance delivery to achieve above satisfactory partner performance ratings across all assessment areas.


Selection criteria

  • Relevant tertiary qualification(s) or a combination of equivalent experience and training.
  • Certified Public Accountant or Chartered Accountant highly desired.
  • 2 years of demonstrated experience managing projects, preferably in International Development or a similar sector such as community development.
  • Strong understanding of development projects, with a track record of delivering on-time and within budget.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation and stakeholder management skills, enabling effective collaboration and alignment across various teams and vendors.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills, with the ability to make informed decisions, foster collaboration, and drive accountability.
  • Exceptional planning and organisational skills, ensuring project milestones are met and risks are mitigated.
