The Tradies Success Academy is dedicated to bridging the business education gap and fostering a supportive community for trade business owners. Our mission is to help them operate and grow successful businesses while maintaining a fulfilling life.
You can be located anywhere within Australia as this role will be remote.
Role Overview
As a Specialist Trade Business Coach, your primary responsibility will be to educate, motivate, and create accountability for our members. To excel in this role, you'll need:
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Hands-on experience navigating the challenges of running a business.
- A genuine passion for mentoring and coaching others, leveraging our existing resources and collaborating with other expert coaches.
Key Responsibilities
- Impactful Contribution: Guide trade business owners to build thriving businesses and achieve fulfilling lives.
- Collaborative Environment: Work alongside a world-class team of coaches and support staff, empowering our members.
- Effective Coaching: Deliver impactful group sessions, provide 1-on-1 guidance, and foster community building.
- Continuous Learning: Stay at the forefront of our proven methods through ongoing training.
- Engaging Content Creation: Produce short-form video content to enrich our members' experience and expand our content library.
Role Requirements
- A minimum of 5 years of experience running your own successful trade or construction business or
- Running a trade business as a general manager or operations manage for 5 years.
- Proficiency in technology-supported learning environments or the ability to quickly adapt to new technologies.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills with a client-focused approach.
- Strong organisational and time management abilities, with the flexibility to adapt to a fast-paced environment.
- A positive mindset, collaborative spirit, and proactive problem-solving skills.
- An ownership mentality—reliable, consistent, and committed to following through on your responsibilities.
- The ability to communicate openly, honestly, and effectively, fostering an environment of vulnerability that drives growth and performance.
Position Details
This role is offered as a flexible casual contract, with an expected commitment of 10-20 hours per week. We will work with you to ensure a mutually beneficial arrangement.
