Join a growing Local Government Council within their Information Technology Services branch delivering advanced levels of support and problem resolution. You will also be part of delivering minor works, initiatives and enhancements.
As The Application Analyst, You Will
Provide advice on the technical restrictions and capabilities of the relevant systems as well as mentor, train and develop team members in related technical areas.
Develop solutions and create relevant knowledge base articles.
Maintain knowledge of changes and developments of technology and processes related to our key applications.
Undertake technical reviews and approval of changes to IT systems.
Active management of assigned problems and changes. With up-to-date notes.

Creation, modification of specialist advice via knowledge articles and other relevant documentation.
Manage incidents to resolution, including proactively partnering with vendors to identify solutions to incidents.
Escalate critical issues raised by the organisation and management to vendors
Communicate the progress of outstanding incidents and service requests to stakeholders.
Identify and assist in resolving major incidents.
What do you need?
Well-developed skills in managing corporate information systems, including the ability to effectively solve complex issues and complete tasks in a timely manner.
A tertiary qualification in a relevant field is desirable.
Well-developed skills in mentoring and training team members on use of systems, processes, and methodology
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Basic skills in business analysis.
This is a contract opportunity located on Brisbane's southside and will require the successful candidate to attend the office on a regular basis.
