Schedule: Monday-Friday, 40 hours/Week
Salary: $80,000 - $120,000/year
Job Summary:
The HR Director will lead the strategic direction and development of the human resources department at ACEL Power Inc. This role requires a visionary leader who can design and implement HR strategies that support business objectives, foster leadership, enhance employee engagement, and maintain our commitment to workforce excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and direct the HR team to deliver a comprehensive HR service to the business.
- Develop HR plans and strategies to support the achievement of the overall business operations objectives.
- Function as a strategic advisor to the executive team on key organizational and management issues.
- Work with the executive management to establish a sound plan of management succession that corresponds to the strategy and objectives of the company.
- Develop comprehensive strategic recruiting and retention plans to meet the human capital needs of strategic goals.
- Develop and implement comprehensive compensation and benefits plans that are competitive and cost-effective.
- Provide overall leadership and guidance to the HR function by overseeing talent acquisition, career development, succession planning, retention, training, leadership development, compensation, and benefits globally.
- Ensure compliance with employment, benefits, insurance, safety, and other laws, regulations, and requirements.
- Maintain knowledge of laws, regulations, and best practices in employment law, human resources, and talent management.
- Drive a culture of high performance and continuous improvement that values learning and a commitment to quality.
Qualifications:
- At least 10 years experience working in HR or similar roles
- Proven experience as an HR Director, or similar senior HR role.
- Ability to strategize and formulate business plans with a proven track record in strategic human resource planning.
- Excellent leadership qualities and ability to manage multiple teams across various disciplines and regions.
- Profound knowledge of HR functions (talent management, recruitment, training, compensation etc.)
- Strong understanding of labor legislation and payroll processes.
- Exceptional organizational and leadership skills, and ability to work with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or relevant field; relevant certification (e.g., SHRM-SCP, SPHR) is a plus.
