Operations Assistant / Clerk
Main Duties
Assign trucks to load for delivery and pick-up for various customers, trouble shoot changes to plans and work with customers.
Assist with inspection of shipments, scanning documents and taking pics for customers.
Ability to use pallet jack, or forklift operator.
Closely monitor on-time movement of all incoming / outgoing customer loads.
Make pick-up/delivery appointment as needed.
Communicate plans clearly with Dispatch and Drivers.
Monitor vehicles in GeoTab.
Complete New Hire packages / orientation / uniforms
Communicate proactively with customers to provide updates on move dates, times, and any changes to the plan.
Ordering equipment from suppliers, book hotels for out-of-town work / ordering supplies for office and warehouse.
Education and Skills Requirements
Working knowledge of Microsoft Suite, Text
Strong computer skills and the ability to learn new programs.
Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
Analytical skills and Detail oriented
Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Forklift Operator / some warehouse knowledge for operations.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
