WAREHOUSE + FINISHING LEAD

A-N-D is a decorative luminaire design studio and manufacturer based in Vancouver, Canada where original collections are conceptualized, built and assembled in-house

We are seeking a dedicated Warehouse Finishing Lead to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in warehouse operations and strong organizational and communication skills.

Duties:
Finishing

• Maintain stock levels for finished goods
• Communicate with local vendors
• Clearly organize and label goods outgoing shipments
• Organize local couriers to and from finishing vendors, performing local deliveries as needed
• Load and unload product
• Complete quality control for incoming parts, completing necessary documentation
• Place incoming finished products into inventory

Warehouse - Working independently

• Maintain a clean and organized warehouse
• Maintain a tidy work area
• Organize parts in pallet racking
• Clearly label goods (pallets, crates, etc.)
• Communicate with Production Manager for any maintenance needed for the space
• Communicate with Office Manager of any building questions or concerns
• Transfer stock between main office and warehouse, keeping accurate records
• Oversee and receive deliveries at the warehouse
• Perform stock counts for incoming deliveries, document, and communicate with Shipping Receiving Manager, and Accounting Department
• Ensuring photos are taken of incoming shipments
• Participate in and oversee warehouse inventory counts

Requirements:

• Excellent communication skills
• Excellent time management and organizational skills
• Strong computer skills
• Manufacturing experience
• Class 5 Driver’s License
• Forklift experience
• Heavy lifting
• Hand tools basic power tools
• Inventory management an asset - Experience with S.O.S Inventory Management Software is a bonus

Pay: From $26.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
