Position Title – Maintenance Technician Midnight shift Sunday to Friday 10PM to 7AM
Reports to Maintenance Manager
Duties and Responsibilities:
General Maintenance Technicians often carry out many different tasks in a single day. You may be required to work indoors and outdoors.
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for:
· Troubleshooting, diagnosing problems, replacing or repairing parts, testing, and making adjustments to equipment.
· Providing emergency/unscheduled repairs to equipment during production time.
· Performing minor and major repairs on buildings and equipment including, but not limited to, welding, replacing and repairing parts, hydraulics, pneumatics, and low voltage electrical work.
· Setting up new machines and equipment.
· Performing regular preventative maintenance.
· Repairing and lubricating machines, as needed.
· Assembling, installing, and moving equipment, machinery, appliances, furniture, etc.
· Painting and maintaining walls, windows, and doors.
· Replacing and/or installing parts.
· Repairing and maintaining heaters and appliances.
· Repairing and/or installing cabinets, desks, and countertops.
· General carpentry.
Maintenance Technicians are required to have:
· Ability to work independently with minimum supervision.
· Excellent skills in troubleshooting and diagnosing mechanical issues, and the ability to present findings in a clear and concise manner.
· Ability to read blueprints, service manuals, and schematics to troubleshoot equipment.
· Skills in Microsoft Office.
· Good coordination, a mechanical inclination, and manual dexterity.
· Ability to work at heights.
· Strong communication skills, both oral and written in English.
· Ability to meet physical fitness requirements, including the ability to stand for long periods, lift heavy materials (up to 50lbs), and to climb stairs.
