Position Overview
As an Account Executive you will be responsible for meeting assigned sales goals which will contribute to the company's overarching sales goals. Day to day, you will be responsible for prospecting, obtaining the needs of the prospects, presenting solutions, and negotiating pricing. It is vital that the Account Executive provides visibility to the leadership team via proper CRM hygiene. You will be required to travel, both domestically and internationally. This position requires flexibility as we respond to new business and customer requirements, while being able to quickly adapt to new strategies and priorities as they evolve.
This position is open to internal and external candidates.
Product Line
This role will be working with the Race Roster product.
Work Location
The successful candidate for this role can be either a satellite employee (working 100% remotely from a designated location within Canada or US) or a hybrid employee (flexibility to work in the office or from home at a location within 75 km/45 miles from the London, ON/Boston, MA office).
Responsibilities
- Managing the full sales cycle from prospecting to close through the CRM
- Prospecting large scale events that have longer sales cycles (i.e. months to years)
- Proactively conducting outbound prospecting from a curated list of targeted leads
- Developing sales opportunities through strategic follow up techniques
- Developing relationships with external stakeholders who interact with prospects
- Demoing Race Roster’s products with a deep understanding of the technology
- Presenting thoughtful solutions autonomously to prospects
- Reaching and/or exceeding sales quota as defined by the sales leadership team
- Communicating current and potential opportunities to the sales leadership team
- Collaborating with internal teammates such as, Junior, Intermediate and Timer Account Executives, Solutions Engineers, Customer Success Managers
- Mentor junior members of the sales team on industry best practices
- Meaningfully participate in diversity and inclusion initiatives across the ASICS Apps teams
Education & Experience
- 4 years sales experience
- Experience closing complex deals involving multiple stakeholders
- Hunter mentality – motivated by closing deals, driven for results
- Self-starter – motivated to exceeding sales key performance indicators (KPIs), resilient and disciplined
- Proactive and resourceful
- Coachable – ability to embrace learning new skills and ideas
- Strong organization and data management skills
- Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
- CRM experience preferred
Bonus Education & Experience
- Post-secondary degree, diploma, or certificate is preferred
- Proficiency in other languages
