Description
ATCO Frontec is seeking a Proposal Specialist to join the Business Development team in Calgary, Alberta. This position is key to the Business Development and Sales teams, and directly contributes to sales for the organization.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate, write and deliver compliant customer submissions
- Organize and execute proposal reviews
- Offer proposal development services and grant funding application development
- Maintain and monitor Frontec’s compliance for prequalification
- Coordinate with other ATCO business units to assist in proposal development
- Contribute to messaging and brand adherence
- Monitor various Bid Boards
- Monitor Commercial, Provincial/Territorial, Federal and International Bid Boards to seek opportunities for Frontec
- As possible opportunities are identified, coordinate with the relevant sales team whether to pursue
- Assemble proposal teams and organize Kick off meetings
- Manage the proposal response and coordinate inputs from various departments
- Conduct in process proposal reviews and coordinates edits and inputs
- Coach proposal team in persuasive writing and proposal best practices
- Coordinate with other ATCO business units with a view to sharing information that makes a proposal stronger
- Collaborate with Business Development, Sales and the Marketing team to develop input for various customer submissions, while maintaining brand adherence
Qualifications
- A post-secondary degree with Communication, Business or a related field or equivalent work experience
- Proven ability in leading the planning, producing and delivery of compliant proposals within a complex business environment
- Experience in scheduling and executing proposal kick off meetings, leading storyboarding sessions, facilitating key review meetings/final document reviews, coordinating proposal sign off, and delivery of the completed proposal
- Experience in technical/business writing would be considered an asset
- Exemplary communication and presentation skills
- Strong ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Strong organization skills and ability to manage multiple projects
- High proficiency is Office 365, Adobe Acrobat, desktop publishing
- Proficiency in Share Point and Salesforce would be considered an asset
