Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-oriented individual to join our team as a Service Advisor. As a Service Advisor, you will be the primary point of contact for customers who require automotive repair and maintenance services. Your role will involve providing exceptional customer service, coordinating service appointments, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
- Greet customers and provide a warm welcome to the dealership/service center
- Listen to customers' concerns and accurately document their vehicle issues
- Schedule service appointments and coordinate with the service department
- Provide detailed explanations of recommended repairs and maintenance
- Prepare accurate cost estimates for repairs and obtain customer approval
- Communicate with technicians to ensure timely completion of repairs
- Keep customers informed about the status of their vehicles throughout the repair process
Experience:
- Previous experience in a customer service role is preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Mechanical knowledge or experience in automotive repair is preferred but not required
