Operations Foreman / Lead Dispatch Location: Lloydminster, Ab or Elk Point, Ab site. Full-time position
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Report to Operations Manager, CEO
Oversee, manage, direct crews which operate cementing and stimulation, fluid transport, coil tubing and other technical downhole services in Western Canada.
Provide direction and technical assistance during jobs
Organize and administer staff duties and training for day-to-day operational activities.
Manage workforce performance and disciplinary issues using effective solutions.
Coordinate and schedule, crews and equipment across multiple projects and timelines for various clients
Planning routes and communicating route changes to drivers as needed
Preparing dispatch documents and provide them to crews
Communicating with customers regarding service quality, safety, environmental or other concerns
Have a working knowledge of current safety, hours of service, transportation and other relevant legislation and ensure staff and equipment are in good standing and compliant.
Providing superior customer service and support to both clients and Challenger staff
Ensure the availability of labor, equipment, materials and other resources.
Supervise, train, and give feedback to staff when required
PERSONAL REQUIREMENTS
Previous Canadian field-level oil and gas experience in cementing, fluid pumping, coiled tubing, or technically-equivalent field
Class 5 and clean abstract minimum, Class 1 driver’s license preferred
Physically fit and capable of typical field-level tasks
5 years in operations management, logistics, dispatch, transportation or a combination of transferable skills and experience
Computer proficiency required, candidates with experience in automated monitoring systems is an asset.
