The Assembler coordinates the daily lineup for the current job with the Operations Manager and ensures that the job is completed by the deadline and to the standards required.
Key Duties: (not limited as outlined)
Assemble parts and components accurately according to blueprints or work instructions
Utilize hand tools and power tools to complete assembly tasks
Operate forklifts to move materials within the warehouse
Fabricate parts as needed to meet production requirements
Inspect finished products to ensure quality standards are met
Educational Requirements
Minimum High School diploma.
Crane and Forklift Certified an asset
First Aid certification an asset
Experience Requirements
Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools
Mechanical knowledge to understand assembly processes
Experience working in a warehouse environment is a plus
Ability to operate a forklift safely and efficiently
Strong attention to detail and quality craftsmanship Excellent reading comprehension skills.
Problem-solving, time management, and organizational skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Attention to detail, workmanship, and neatness.
Ability to work to tight deadlines as required
