Dalton Associates (DA) is a mental health services organization that was founded by Dr. Dan Dalton, C.Psych., in 1995. With a dynamic team of over 75 employees and over 200 clinicians, DA provides specialized and quality assured, psychological, psychotherapy, social work, and behavioural health services that are culturally sensitive, safe, accessible, and timely throughout the province of Ontario. The organization has seven (7) divisions of service, including counselling (“Mental Wellness with Dalton”), rehabilitation services, psychological assessments, autism and behavioural health services (“Launch Behavioural Health”), customized mental health programs, Indigenous mental wellness services, and first responder mental wellness services.
Role Description:
The Financial Analyst will report to the Director of Finance at Dalton Associates. As the Financial Analyst you possess strong analytical, technology, communication and organizational skills, you are a solution focused and conceptual thinker with an eye for detail and continuous improvement.
Responsibilities:
1. Financial reporting and budget preparation
2. Create and maintain operating budgets for various programs
3. Billing and reporting for corporate partnerships
4. Create and review journal entries and related accounting schedules
5. Bank reporting and cash management
Required Qualifications:
· 5 years of accounting and finance experience
· Must be highly proficient with Excel, for building and analyzing building models
· Detail oriented, customer oriented, strong personal commitment to successfully completing projects
· Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures
· Working knowledge with ERP accounting software (Microsoft Navision would be an asset)
· Passionate about technology and innovation is an asset
· Adaptable and able to handle multiple priorities, open to embrace changes and think outside the box
· Post-Secondary Degree, CPA designation, or in process
