Profile & Analytics Lead

As a member of the North American Safety & Compliance team, this role is responsible for the company’s safety profile; managing, reporting, analyzing and providing recommendations to the business on progressive actions.

How You'll Help:

• Overseeing the safety action logs and coordinating the violation review process for North America
• Ensure reporting is completed for all accidents; weekly, monthly, comparative analysis and forecasting
• Managing the company’s safety profile and reporting on them; weekly, monthly, comparative analysis, recommendations, legal fees and outcomes
• Overseeing key aspects of safety violations including handling event entries, managing training documentation and conducting driver audits
• Facilitating the completion of internal observation violations i.e. Lytx events
• Responsible for safety communications to the brokers, internal customers and company fleet
• Support maintenance issues and details surrounding equipment
• Provide detailed analysis of on road and internal violations in North America to determine root cause; predictive analysis to provide mitigation strategies to safety team and fleet
• Establish monthly session with ops leadership (RD's and under) to discuss current safety issues from our end and from theirs for identification and correction). Have separate session with DSS for each region to review issues specific to their fleet
• Complete admin tasks within the safety group (documentation, reporting, etc) not just in relation to profiles
• Remain current on all regulatory conditions across North America relating to transportation, providing guidance to the business

Your Skills & Experience:

• High School Diploma
• Post Secondary Degree or an equivalent thereof
• 5 years transportation experience
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience with transportation or logistics
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
• Ability to lead meetings
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, written and verbal.
• Strong business acumen
• English (verbal/written/spoken) required; French is an asset
