Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Sushi Chef to join our team. As a Sushi Chef, you will be responsible for preparing and presenting sushi dishes in accordance with our restaurant's high standards. Your expertise in sushi preparation and your attention to detail will contribute to creating an exceptional dining experience for our customers.

Responsibilities:
- Prepare sushi dishes according to established recipes and presentation techniques
- Ensure the quality and freshness of ingredients used in sushi preparation
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the sushi station and kitchen area
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations and timely service
- Adhere to food safety and sanitation standards at all times
- Assist in inventory management and ordering of sushi ingredients
- Train and mentor junior sushi chefs as needed

Experience:
- Proven experience as a Sushi Chef or similar role in a restaurant setting
- Extensive knowledge of sushi preparation techniques, including slicing, rolling, and plating
- Strong understanding of food safety practices and regulations
- Excellent knife skills and ability to handle kitchen equipment effectively
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Knowledge of different types of sushi fish, seafood, and ingredients
- Creativity in developing new sushi rolls and presentations

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Salary: $17.00-$21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25 – 35 per week
