Are you passionate about information security and data loss prevention? My client is looking for a Senior DLP Analyst to take on a key role in managing DLP tickets, processing requests, and maintaining security systems, policies, and controls. You'll also act as a backup to the DLP Administrator and take on additional security-related tasks.
This role requires expertise in Information Security practices, along with experience with DLP products like Symantec, McAfee, RSA, or Microsoft tools (Purview, MIP/AIP, M365). πΌ What Youβll Do:
- π― Monitor DLP tickets and alerts, taking action and resolving issues.
- π οΈ Review policies and configurations to identify areas for improvement.
- π Create and maintain PowerBI compliance dashboards.
- π Engage with business teams to identify and monitor sensitive data for unauthorized disclosures.
- π€ Consult with internal teams on data security activities.
- π Assist in developing security incident response processes and documentation.
- π¨ Proactively review DLP alerts and provide actionable risk information.
π Key Responsibilities:
- Process DLP requests and resolve tickets in a timely manner per SLAs.
- Investigate and resolve ITSM tickets, providing clear recommendations.
- Assist in product deployment and technical issue resolution.
- Collaborate with senior leadership and various business functions to align technical data with business objectives.
- Stay updated on industry standards and advancements in security.
π Qualifications:
- Associate degree in a related technical field or equivalent experience.
- Security certifications (CISSP, CISA, CISM) preferred.
- Microsoft MCSE/MCSA and/or Cisco certification is a plus.
- Minimum 4 years in information services, with at least 3 year in systems security.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to interact with non-technical business contacts.
- Familiarity with data classification and protection processes.
