We are looking for fun loving, hardworking and caring individuals to support young adults with physical disabilities such as cerebral palsy. Staff are expected to follow guidance from our specialized therapists to deliver direct movement therapy and care, in order to support our participants in helping to learn essential skills for life. We are looking for people who have flexibility and are able to work evenings and weekends if needed.
Staff are expected to:

Staff responsibilities include but are not limited to:
cleaning and tidying
support participants in direct movement exercises
assisting with personal care including bathroom help and feeding
Experience working with non-verbal individuals is preferred.
Families of Alberta for Conductive Education is a non-for-profit organization who runs a specialized community access programs to support adults in communication, social programs and movement programs where participants learn how to move towards greater independence when the are faced with a neuromotor disorder.
Additional duties include cleaning before and after program times, as well as assisting with personal care as necessary.
Experience is desired but not necessary as full training and guidance is given at all times. A valid police and vulnerable persons check is required.
First Aid with CPR required.
