GeneralSummary….

The Manager,Inventory Control is responsible for managing and ensuring completion of daily,weekly and monthly inventory and receiving reports in a high volume, SKUintensive facility. The Inventory Control Manager responsibilities will alsoinclude gathering and analyzing data concerning operations, inventory controland customer requirements. This position is responsible for product safety,quality and legality.

This position will beresponsible for…..

  • Manages at least 2 fulltime direct reports. Management responsibilities include, but are not limitedto hiring, coaching, skills development, recognition and rewards, staffproductivity and performance management to include disciplinary actions up toand including termination.
  • Plans, organizes, staffs,directs and controls the day-to-day operations of the department; develops andimplements policies and programs as necessary.
  • Develops and managesthe department budget, ensures compliance and addresses variances and otherbudget concerns
  • Preparing andreconciling required daily, weekly and monthly inventory and production reports.
  • Coordinating andmanaging of monthly/quarterly physical inventories and development of follow upreporting.
  • Gathering and analyzingdata concerning operations, inventory control and customer requirements.
  • Performing internalaudits and (additional) cycle counts to validate accuracy of cycle countprocess
  • Ensuring/reinforcingthe Company employee culture is being fostered in the facility
  • Facilitating regularsafety meetings and assuring the maintenance of a safe work environment
  • Monitoring compliancewith The Company’s SOAR Program
  • Providing assistancefor the Operations and/or Facility Manager on special projects as required.
  • Perform other duties asassigned.

Education/Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in IndustrialEngineering or related field preferred and 8 years of relevant experience.
  • In lieu of degree, highschool diploma or GED and 10 years of relevant experience.
  • Span of control is atdepartment level or above.
  • At least three (3) tofive (5) years’ experience in a management/supervisory capacity.
  • At least three (3) tofive (5) years’ experience inventory control/stock accounting in awarehouse/distribution environment strongly preferred.
  • Previous Warehouse ManagementSystem / SAP based Warehouse Management System (WMS) Manhattan experiencestrongly preferred.
  • Radio Frequency (RF) orrelated .experience is strongly preferred.
  • Experience with Lean orSix Sigma Methodologies.
  • Excellentorganizational and analytical skills.
  • Prioritization andproblem solving skills essential.
  • Strong systemsbackground, familiar with Oracle preferred.
  • Ability to plan forspikes and lows in day to day business and experience with reading/analyzingforecasts.
  • Must have excellentcommunication skills, both written and oral, and the ability to effectivelyinteract with Company customers and employees.
  • Demonstrated knowledgeand user experience with Excel, Access, E-Mail, and Word Documents.

Pay Range: 77135.00 (Min) - 109272.00 (Mid) - 141408.00 (Max) Yearly
