Production Personnel

Bothwell Cheese

Location: New Bothwell

Reporting to: Production Supervisor

Shift: Afternoons 4 pm - 12:30am Monday - Friday

Job Scope:

Working under the direction of the Manager of Process, the primary responsibilities of this position are:

• Assisting with cheese production
• Some sanitation duties which include but not limited to washing equipment
• Performing other processing functions as required

Qualifications:

• Flexibility to work various shifts
• Attention to detail
• Ability to adapt to change
• Ability to maintain accurate and detailed documentation
• Ability to multi-task and manage time efficiently
• Ability to work with minimal supervision
• Hold a valid driver’s license
• Ability to do physical work which includes some heavy lifting
• Effective oral and written communication skills

This is a full-time position morning and night shifts available Monday to Friday (occasional Saturdays required).

Working Environment:

Extended exposure to dust, extreme temperatures and multiple deadlines. Frequent exposure to hazards including chemical substances, hazardous machines and moving objects. Regular exposure to noise and odour.

Physical Demands:

Standing and walking, for extended length of time. Occasional lifting of materials to a maximum weight of 20 kg.
