Graceview Enterprises Inc. was established in 1977, during this time we accumulated over 40 years of experience in the construction of a wide range of buildings. Our construction contracts have included a broad mix of stipulated price, construction management, and design-build arrangements.

Vital to the success of every project is our solid core of long-service, skilled employees, familiar with a wide variety of construction types and methods. Office staff and technical resources are available for prompt assistance to site personnel for effective problem-solving and to ensure uninterrupted progress.

Due to strong growth in our business , Graceview Enterprises is looking for a Site Supervisor who is passionate about working with our team. The Site Supervisor will be required to interact professionally with all parties, including Owners & Consultants, Sub-Contractors, Tradespersons, Inspectors & other construction related personnel in planning, coordinating & safely executing the work in accordance with the contract documents, schedule & budget. Working closely with team members, will ensure the efficient flow of information as well as communicating project progress.

The start date and onboarding process for this position will be determined in consultation with the successful candidate.

As a Site Supervisor, your essential duties and expectations will include:

Responsibilities:

• Maintain open and regular communication to ensure project deadlines are met
• Holds responsibility for maximizing efficiencies throughout the project
• Ensures zero tolerance for structural deficiencies & building code violations
• Ensures 100% on-site engagement regarding Safety
• Holds the responsibility and displays commitment resulting in a pleased customer, whether Owner or Consultant
• Fosters an enthusiastic, creative, “can-do” attitude,

Qualifications include:

• 5-10 years experience
• ICI Construction
• Forming & Layout experience are an asset
• Ability to read and understand drawings
• Proven ability to manage multiple subcontractors and own forces
• Computer hardware and software familiarity
• Good communication skills – both verbal and written
• Problem solving skills re. team partner relationships
• Ability to listen, discern and decide
• Problem solving skills: practical re. construction details
• Sound ethical decision making
• Willingness to gain training/certification in related fields; Gold Seal Certificate would be an asset.
• Must be able to secure a vulnerable sector police check.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $40.00-$42.00 per hour

Expected hours: 44 per week
