Job Description
Janitor/Operations
We are growing our team again! Reporting to the Facilities Manager, this role is responsible for assisting with the day-to-day operations of Hansbraun Properties, performing routine janitorial and maintenance at 5 Hansbraun properties located in Saanich.
JOB DUTIES
- Respond to tenant and management requests in a timely and professional manner
- Perform daily inspections, janitorial and maintenance of the parking lots, common areas and building systems
- Complete assigned tasks and inspection checklists as required
- Ensure centre standards are maintained with leaf blowing, garbage clean up, janitorial and power washing as necessary
- Assist with snow removal operations
- Conduct vacancy assessments to ensure spaces are clean and appropriate for showings
- Assist building contractors as required
- Assist and take daily direction from the Operations manager on jobs and tasks to maintain a clean and orderly site
- Provide outside contractors with access to secure areas of buildings
- Participate in the Safety Committee
- Attend Team Meetings
- Record work/task details in applicable logs books and timesheets on a smart phone
- A current BC driver's license is required
- Weekend shifts are required
- Approximately 60% of this position is exterior grounds maintenance including garbage pick up and curb sweeping
- This is a physical role that requires extensive walking, bending, kneeling and lifting
