Ironworkers:
We are looking for people who have underground experience in the potash industry and have demonstrated competency and attention to safety in:
Reading plans and blueprints
Working effectively in an underground environment
Installation of construction and structural steel
In addition to the experience noted above, an ideal candidate will possess:
a Red Seal Journeyperson certification
a minimum of one year working in an underground mining environment or three years working in an industrial construction setting
current certification in Saskatchewan General Mine Safety Awareness
current certification in WHMIS 2015
current certification in Fall Protection and Aerial Work Platforms
current or previous training and certification for operation of overhead or mobile crane tickets will be considered an asset
a commitment to working safely and communicating effectively in a team environment
positive attitude and excellent work ethic
the ability to work away from home on a work rotation defined by the project
the ability to work dayshift or nightshift
a valid driver’s license
the ability to travel to work locations in Saskatchewan without relying on air travel
Candidates should be physically fit and, as part of our screening process, will be asked to perform a drug and alcohol test at a licensed laboratory.
