Screen Printer

Job Description

The screen printer is responsible for setting up the textile press, printing and cleanup. The position will require the individual to be confident in running the press with minimal supervision while following work orders and checklists to ensure quality product is manufactured in a fast paced environment. Experience an asset, but all required training will be provided. Must have own vehicle as we are located 10 minutes south of Winnipeg, in Ile Des Chenes.

• General printing tasks

• Performs all computer functions necessary to follow the workflow system
• Reports defective materials or questionable conditions to the manager
• Maintains the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follows prescribed safety regulations
• Reports any shortages and inconsistencies in the inventory/work documents to the management

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. This position is very active and requires standing, walking and bending all day. The employee may frequently lift and/or move items over 30 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00-$20.00 per hour
