What are we looking for?

Reporting to the Product Development Manager, this role undertakes a variety of day-to-day tasks that serves as an integral part in product development process and fulfilling our customers’ needs as well as supporting the product development and sales team.

What will you be doing?

  • Responsible for receiving new samples and organization of production samples.
  • Maintain the product sample tracking file and follow up with production.
  • Prepare costing sheets and opening orders for new collections using Excel.
  • Maintain product sales trays for internal sales meetings.
  • Maintain showroom fixtures with current collection.
  • Send approval samples to the customers.
  • Edit and retouch product photos, ensuring product images meet brand standards and specifications for our catalogue using Adobe Photoshop
  • Create and update digital materials, including product catalogues and promotional assets, planograms utilizing Photoshop to design and InDesign to edit graphics and layouts.

What qualifications and skills do you need?

  • Post-secondary education or relevant experience, preferably in fashion or retail.
  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience as a product development assistant or a similar type of role
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
  • A self-starter who takes ownership of their work and can work independently and in a team environment.
  • Intermediate knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint
  • Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop is a definite asset.
  • Highly organized and efficient in time management
