It's a short season, and we aim to capitalize on every minute of it. We are busy everyday, but April to November is our busiest times, so a flexible schedule is an asset. Our ideal candidate is:
- Friendly and service-oriented
- Flexible to work evening and weekend shifts (April to November)
- High-level proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, QBO and Square
- Detail-oriented & a critical thinker
- Able to collect payments from customers whilst providing excellent customer service
- Able to be a boater’s first impression of the Krates team and experience, and greet clients with warmth and professionalism
- Create consistently positive client experiences while answering phones, emails, and social media messages
- Leverage our client management software (Square) to optimize organization of handling client payments and data.
- Develop a strong understanding of the services offered at Krates and the Service Department in order to guide them in the launch and haul out process.
- Maintain all client records with respect, care, and confidentiality
- Assist in inventory and ordering parts or merchandise.
- A team player, always taking initiative, and prioritizing success of the whole team.
- Integrity and honesty; understanding the value of sharing and receiving positive and constructive feedback.
- Experience with boats or marina lifestyle is a plus.
Job entails all aspects of front desk reception, including telephone answering, greeting clients, billing, collecting, inventory, ordering.
Please note that the compensation range listed may vary and is negotiable based on your professional experience.
We are a recreational facility and our peak season is during April until November. Evenings and weekend availability are a must.
