PART TIME- WEEKEND Dispatcher

Your responsibilities in this PART TIME position will include:

Dispatch company drivers according to customer instructions and in compliance with MTO/DOT regulations and company rules in a TMS environment
Planning and processing loads
Monitoring the utilization of company tractors and trailers
Regularly communicating with drivers regarding their assignments
Entry of dispatched trips, driver availability and manifest information into TMS system
Updating customer tracking and paperwork follow up.
Other duties as required

Preferred Qualifications:

Working knowledge of Word, Excel and Power Point
Working knowledge of Satellite, PC Miler as well as Transportation Management systems
Minimum 2 years experience in a truckload or LTL environment
Solid understanding of all highway transportation industry and safety regulations
Knowledge of North American geography and cross border operations
Strong organizational, problem solving, and communication skills
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
Strong attention to detail
Ability to multi-task and work well under pressure
Flexibility to work all shifts
