The Opportunity

The Quality Operations Manager implements the Quality Policy according to the requirements of ISO13485 regulations. Organizes and maintains the Quality Management System (QMS) and supervises at all levels of the company.

Define and drive implementation of functional strategy and the quality strategic roadmap. Identify and define quality operations requirements for stakeholders throughout the company.

Utilize risk-based critical thinking leadership approaches to assure compliance with quality/regulatory requirements while simultaneously meeting business objectives. Supports the Director of Industrial Operations in setting quality objectives, pilots problem-solving, identifies and analyzes dysfunctions and proposes corrective actions.

They are responsible for ensuring product compliance with internal and external requirements (customers, regulations, etc.).

The Quality Operations Manager is responsible for the final release of products.

What You Will Do

  • Serve on the London Leadership Team with responsibility to lead the collective business, set and maintain strategic direction, and direct teams to ensure achievement of strategic and operational business objectives.
  • Lead, coach, mentor and develop high-performing organizational leaders and teams with emphasis on Quality Operations organization.
  • Collaborate with executive management in determining departmental organizational plan, operating model, strategy deployment and governance procedures.
  • Senior leadership responsibility for Site Quality Operations function including Quality Assurance, Quality Control, Product Realization Quality, Product Quality Engineering and Supplier Quality Engineering.
  • Lead, direct, and ensure provision of Quality Operations resources at London site to support achievement of business objectives per function organizational strategy and roadmap.
  • Determine and define quality operations requirements to stakeholders throughout the company.
  • Assure quality throughout product realization process including ownership of inspection, QA/QC, product release, non-conformance, production process validation, equipment qualification, analytical method validation, and system/process related CAPA processes.
  • Deliver product quality engineering excellence including ownership of complaint investigation/trending, product quality engineering and product related CAPA processes.
  • Facilitate quality and regulatory compliance and collective business process development and improvement using CI philosophy and tools.
  • Manage execution of deliverables in support of QMS CI roadmap and overall business objectives.

And all other tasks or responsibilities as assigned by the direct supervisor, relevant and directly related to the proper execution of this position.

What You Will Bring

  • Minimum bachelor’s degree with a specialization in quality or combination or education and related experience.
  • 10 to 15 years of professional experience in the field is also required. Expert knowledge of current standards and regulations, ISO 9001 and 13485 standards
  • Mastery of statistical analysis and control technologies
  • Mastery of indicator and dashboard development and monitoring
  • Knowledge of oral and written communication techniques, Ability to animate and lead a team
  • Project management
  • Ensure understanding and application of regulatory monitoring tools
  • Master and use root cause analysis and continuous improvement tools
  • Proficiency in professional English.
