**Job Overview:**

We are seeking a skilled Site Supervisor to oversee construction projects and ensure their timely completion within budget and to high-quality standards.

Nautical Lands Group, a Global award-winning builder, is seeking the services of an experienced Site Supervisor/Site Superintendent with mid-rise construction experience to manage the Wellings of Bradford Retirement Community, construction project located at 500 Holland St., West Bradford, ON L3Z 0A2.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The Site Supervisor is responsible for executing medium mid-rise development projects within budget and on schedule. Essential experience includes working with construction specifications, fire separation requirements, and commercial mechanical and electrical systems.

Primarily responsible for coordinating all activities on a construction site to ensure completion of the project on schedule and according to design and supervising all personnel involved with the project.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

· Assemble the job site office and equipment requirements.

· Responsible for security of the site.

· Schedule and identify time-consuming obstacles ahead of time.

· Schedule trades and follow up to ensure compliance of tasks assigned.

· Ensure quality is upheld or maintained in the construction process.

· Complete daily reports to be submitted to the project manager(s).

· Complete a Construction Weekly Progress Checklist and forward to the Project Manager(s)

· Responsible for preparing the minutes with respect to daily site meetings and Distributing said minutes by the end of each day.

· Ensure work is being completed as per issued drawings and specifications.

· Ensure only most recent drawings, site instructions, specifications and shop drawings are used on site to complete the work.

· Ensure records and documents are filed as per NLG policies.

· Record all instances of non-performance and advise the project manager(s) so that corrective action can be taken.

· Chair weekly trade site meetings and Safety Tail gate meetings.

· Maintain a safe job site and ensure that the requirements of the Occupational Health and Safety Act and the NLG Health & Safety Procedures Manual are enforced.

· Ensure the Post on Site Checklist on page 1-7 of the Infrastructure Health & Safety Association 2019 Edition of the Construction Health and Safety Manual is completed and the necessary documentation and information posted or available on site.

· Complete a weekly site Safety Audit inspection and complete and retain the Safety Audit Checklist on site.

· Purchase materials and equipment for the site from NLG approved vendors only.

· Responsible for ensuring proper storage and security of materials and equipment stored on site.

· Coordinate all required municipal inspections.

· Maintain a neat and tidy site.

· Maintain sound working relationships among the workers, contractors and suppliers.

· Ensure the following NLG policies are enforced at all times

o Health and Safety Policy Statement

o Working at Heights Rescue Procedure

o Construction Health and Safety Procedures

o Workplace Harassment and Violence Policy

o Emergency Response Plan

· Report all problems beyond their scope of responsibility directly to the Project Managers for action.

· Other Duties as required.

REQUIREMENTS

· Valid Ontario G-class license

· Ability to travel as required

· Must be able to stand for long hours

· Ability to respond well to emergency situations

· Must be able to climb stairs and ladders with the ability to lift moderate loads up to 40lbs.

· Valid Standard First Aid/CPR,

· Working at heights

· High level of attention to detail

· JHSC Training Part 1 & 2

· Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills

· Excellent customer service skills

· Proficient in computer literacy (Word, Excel, E-mail)

EXPERIENCE

· Experience building 60-100 unit, mid-rise buildings

· Construction Site Supervisor: 5 years (preferred)

ASSETS

· Site Super certification (Basics of Supervision)

Pay: $80,000.00-$100,000.00 per year
