Maintenance Technician

Responsibilities & Skills

• Oversee and manage parts inventory and surplus equipment storage
• Develop and coordinate schedules for all routine preventive maintenance tasks
• Collaborate with the Maintenance Supervisor to plan and schedule medium and long-term corrective maintenance activities
• Procure and prepare essential materials and components for all maintenance operations
• Work alongside the Maintenance Manager and equipment vendors to establish appropriate maintenance procedures and frequencies
• Maintain accurate inventory levels based on established maintenance schedules
• Verify and inspect all incoming ordered supplies and parts
• Liaise with Supervisors regarding equipment status and unscheduled downtime in relation to preventive maintenance plans
• Act as stand-in for Maintenance Manager or Supervisor when required
• Spearhead and monitor 5S implementation across Production, Maintenance, and other departments in conjunction with Production and Sanitation managers
• Ensure strict adherence to and oversight of all applicable hygiene standards, safety protocols for personnel and machinery, company policies, and general cleanliness guidelines for both in-house maintenance staff and external technicians. Promptly report any deviations
• Ensure proper maintenance and availability of shared resources, including tools and workshop equipment
