As we continue to grow, we are looking for an exceptional Finance Assistant to join our Pod. This is a great opportunity for someone who has experience with QuickBooks, a basic knowledge of accounting and finance and is highly organized and efficient. As our Finance Assistant, you will be responsible for assisting in the Operations & Project Manager of the company, including payment processing, account management, financial reporting, and more.

Duties and Responsibilities
The Finance Assistant will be responsible for the following regular tasks:
- Process payments, including Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable.
- Provide analyses of the vendor statements to ensure compliance with the respective project’s expenditures; arrange expense reconciliation.
- Support reconciliation of bank statements, verifying that financial transactions recorded in the company's accounting system correspond to transactions recorded by the bank.
- Expense management, including the preparation of expense spreadsheets and monitoring budget limits.
- Customer and supplier service related to financial issues, such as billing and payments.
- Maintain relations and communication with suppliers and staff.
- Prepare monthly reports of Profit & Loss of closed projects including comparative analysis between cost and budget.
- Assisting the Operations & Project Manager with the preparation of general finance reports.
- General finance and other duties as required.
Education & Experience
- Post-secondary education in accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting or finance roles, with experience using QuickBooks Online.
- Basic knowledge of accounting and finance.
- Ability to work efficiently and accurately.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Ability to work well in a team and communicate clearly.
- Intermediate knowledge of Excel.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $22.00-$25.00 per hour
