Job Posting for Trainer at Pattison Agriculture Limited
To fulfill Pattison Agricultures’ vision of GROWING, CONNECTING AND EVOLVING we are looking for a Trainer to join our support team. The successful candidate can work out of any of our Pattison Agriculture locations. This role would be responsible for creating and delivering training modules to all of our departments (Sales, Service, Parts, Precision Ag) and would report to our Intelligence Solutions Training Manager.
Responsibilities
This individual’s responsibilities include:
Prepare/deliver training modules to staff, customers and operators
Attend training and maintain credentials for required systems
Understand equipment setup, components, operation, and technical manuals relevant to John Deere brand and other manufacturer products
Assist with new hire onboarding sessions and customer training events
Support employee growth and development through training
Build and maintain strong positive and professional working relationships with peers, management, employees, and customers
Significant travel inside/outside of Canada
Requirements
This would be an ideal position if you have:
Excellent customer service, interpersonal, and presentation skills
The ability to work flexible hours
Must have valid passport and ability to travel outside of Canada
Knowledge of farm and agricultural systems relevant to the area
A valid Class 5 Drivers License
Ability to read, write, and speak effectively with customers/employees
Extensive experience in agriculture-related role
The ability to use desktop and internet applications
Have experience analyzing and interpreting data and reports
Ability to manage a fast-paced environment
Grade 12, GED or equivalent experience required; Ag/Engineering/Business degree preferred
