Flexibility: We have a policy that allows for hybrid work, with a minimum of 2 days per week at the office.

We are currently seeking an energetic, motivated, and experienced professional to fill the position of Customer Service Representative to join our growing team in Grand Prairie, Alberta. As a Customer Service Representative, you will be responsible for effectively communicating with our customers and Operations, taking orders and tracking them. This person will also be responsible for communicating with our commercial team to maintain the highest level of customer service. This position initiates communication between shipping, receiving, accounting, and the procurement and logistic department. This is a highly collaborative position that works at a fast pace, solutions-driven workplace. We are looking for someone with a positive and professional attitude who will ensure a dedicated and impeccable customer service.

Responsibilities include:
  • Process orders in our ERP system (JDE), ensuring shipping and invoicing accuracy
  • Invoice processing and filing
  • Ensure that customer requests and complaints are handled satisfactorily and in accordance with company guidelines
  • Work closely with sales representatives to connect to customer issues
  • Read and understand all customer activities for the strategic accounts in Salesforce
  • Ensure customer requirements and information is maintained and accurate in our system
  • Regular communication with logistics and procurement functions to ensure customer’s requirements and operational requirements are met
  • Work in synergy with other departments to ensure full customer focus
  • Validating shipments for invoicing
  • Being the first point of contact onsite for carriers and customers
Qualifications:
  • Post-secondary or college diploma in administration, business or related field
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Must have strong work ethic, initiatives and a desire to succeed
  • 2-3 years of relevant experience as Customer Service Representative in a distribution, logistic or manufacturing environment
  • Ability to work independently and to multitask
  • Compassion, integrity and honesty are important character traits that we are looking for
  • Desires to work in an environment where decisions must be made quickly and under pressure
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and analytical skills
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Very strong data entry and computer skills (Microsoft Office Suite, Salesforce, etc.)
