Food Counter Attendant

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Food Service Counter Attendant to join our team. In this role, you will be the face of our establishment, providing exceptional customer service while efficiently handling food orders and transactions. You will play a crucial part in creating a welcoming environment for our customers and ensuring their dining experience is enjoyable.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and take their orders accurately.
• Operate the POS system for processing transactions and managing cash handling.
• Prepare food items according to established recipes and standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the counter area, kitchen, and dining space.
• Assist in upselling menu items to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales.
• Ensure compliance with food handling and safety regulations at all times.
• Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly to ensure a positive experience.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and quality food delivery.

Skills

• Strong customer service skills with a friendly demeanor.
• Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and transaction processing.
• Experience in cashiering and operating POS systems is preferred.
• Ability to upsell menu items effectively to enhance sales opportunities.
• Excellent time management skills to handle busy periods efficiently.
• Knowledge of food handling practices to ensure safety and quality standards are met.
• Previous experience in a kitchen or restaurant setting is a plus but not required.

Pay: $15.00-$17.00 per hour
