Responsibilities
- Develop policies and standards for key technological platforms; manage exceptions in a consistent and informed manner to ensure alignment of architectural elements across the organization.
- Identify, assess, and communicate risks, contingencies, issues, and mitigations pertaining to architecture, security, and other technology dimensions; assess solution options and provide recommendations so that projects and/or initiatives are implemented as planned.
- Identify opportunities to maximize the return on IT investments through optimized architecture and prudent technology selection while keeping abreast of technology standards and best practices to continuously improve BC Hydro’s architectural processes.
- Collaborate with internal teams and application and infrastructure service providers to gather, evaluate, set solution requirements and constraints, and reconcile solutions with business challenges so that projects and initiatives are completed safely, with quality, within budget, and on time.
- Build meaningful relationships by communicating the objectives, requirements, status, and other details of assigned projects and/or initiatives using excellent business acumen, analytical, problem solving, and facilitation skills so that relevant information is distributed across the organization accurately and on time.
Qualifications
LeanIX strategy / roadmap modeling including applications, infrastructure, security and OT domains.
Experience with other EA tools may be considered. Please specify what Enterprise Architecture tool was used and experience with the tool.
Proficient with EA software tools, including R DOC.
Extensive experience in LEAN IX, including strategizing roadmaps and understanding workflow processes
